(2020 Feb 14-16) We went to Anuradhapura to attend a special event at The Great Ruwanweli Seya (රුවන්වැලි සෑය). We went there by train. Day 01 We went to the special event at The Ruwanweli Seya in the evening. There was a flower tribute to the Ruwanweli Seya which rains if flowers were dropped over the stupa. In the evening there were fireworks. Day 02 We spent the morning at "Parakrama Samudra" tank (පරාක්රම සමුද්ර වැව). We wandered around the tank and enjoyed the scenery. Day 03 This was the day we returned home.

(2018/12/25-26) This is one of the earliest train-travels we did. Therefore, we didn't reserve our train seats. This resulted in us having an old type of train for our return journey. Actually, this coincidence made our scenes even more beautiful. But we were fortunate enough to have trains with empty seats for our both journeys. This is the longest train travel I ever did. We stayed only for two nights in Badulla, and we returned home the other day as the trip was focused on the train travel rather than the Badulla city. In the night we came to Badulla, we visited a nearby famous temple. I'm not remember its name. (The temple of Badulla?). Day 01 During the stay in Badulla, we visited a few places there. We went to visit an old wooden bridge. It was situated in a temple. The bridge was above a stream. That stream was flowing over a huge area of rock which was amazing.
